Rosetta listened to sounds of desire flowing from what seemed to be a
woman’s voice. She turned to Veronica and placed the phone on speaker.
“Who’s this?” Veronica asked. “I called my brother’s phone and this is
what I’m hearing.”
“Hmm. Your brother’s hot Rosetta. This is the moaning of a woman making
love,” Veronica intimated.
Rosetta’s entire face changed after Veronica’s statement. She felt a
sudden weakness and she did not know why. Veronica observed the change.
“Are you alright?” she asked incisively. “You seem a bit disturbed.”
Veronica kept looking at her.
The sounds of a woman in ecstasy became intense. Then there was the male
breathing. Rosetta grabbed the phone placed on the desk between she and
Veronica and just swiped it off. She could’ve shouted in it. She got up
and began walking out of the classroom clearly angry.
“What’s the problem Rosetta?”Veronica insisted. Rosetta looked back at
her, tears in her eyes.
“Was that your brother or your boyfriend’s number?” Veronica inquired.
